今年2025/10/19，法國羅浮宮發生震驚全球的竊案，四個蒙面賊利用升降機和玻璃切割機，闖了進去，偷走八件法國王室的稀世珍寶。

羅浮宮: 光天化日下的世紀大竊案

On October 19th, a gang of 4 thieves broke into The Louvre Museum through a second-floor window. 

“It was horrible!”

“Daylight robbery!” shouted some witnesses.

The robbers were inside the museum for only 4 minutes. They took eight priceless items and escaped quickly on scooters.

1. What is The Louvre? 羅浮宮是什麼地方？
   The Louvre Museum is located in Paris, France. It is one of the world’s most famous and largest art museums. Before it became a museum, it was a palace for French kings and queens!
   羅浮宮位於法國發黎，是全世界最知名、規模最大的藝術博物館之一。在成為博物館之前，這裡其實是法國皇室的皇宮！
   
2. What was stolen? 竊賊偷了什麼？
   The 4 robbers took 2 small crowns, 2 necklaces, 2 brooches and 2 earrings. These priceless items were decorated with thousands of little diamonds and other precious stones, like emeralds and sapphires. While escaping, the robbers dropped a crown on the side of the road.
   四名竊賊帶走了兩頂小皇冠、兩條項鍊、兩枚胸針以及兩對耳環。這些館藏價值連城，上頭鑲滿了成千上萬顆鑽石與其他珍貴寶石，例如祖母綠和藍寶石。竊賊逃跑時甚至還在路邊掉了一頂皇冠。
   
3. Has this happened before? 羅浮宮以前也發生過類似事件嗎？
   Yes! The Louvre has a long history of thefts. In 1911, a man disguised as a museum worker stole the Mona Lisa! Two years later, the police found him, and the Mona Lisa came home safely. In 1956, a visitor threw a stone at the Mona Lisa and chipped the paint near her elbow. After that, the museum decided to keep the Mona Lisa behind strong glass.
   有的！羅浮宮曾發生過多起竊案。最著名的是 1911 年，一名男子假扮成館方員工，把《蒙娜麗莎》偷走了。兩年後，警方成功逮到他，畫作也平安回到羅浮宮。1956 年，又有一名參觀者朝《蒙娜麗莎》丟石頭，造成畫作的手肘附近一小塊顏料脫落。從那之後，博物館決定用強化玻璃保護這幅畫。
